Google have their fairly clever little map app in the uk at http://maps.google.co.uk/. No satellite view as yet but hopefully that'll be on the way. Google Local and Google SMS are now UK enabled too.
Google Maps launched in February and then added satellite imagery a few weeks ago. I recently commented on the Google Maps & Craigslist project.
