Yahoo! Customer Service Lag Times

It seems that my bond with Yahoo! has reached an emotional level; a level where they actually managed to make me laugh out loud. You see I wrote to them on the 3rd of August (when I also wrote about Yahoo! Local Search) asking whether they had plans to introduce a local search outwith the USA, my actual text was,

Just wondered whether there will be regional
local search, i.e. one that acknowledges that
there are cities outwith the USA?
I then promptly forgot all about it. Today, the 22nd of September I received a reply. Not one I think which took 49 days to pen but a reply nonetheless,
Hello,

I'm thinking that if they were going to send me an autoresponse then they should have just done that at the time - I didn't really expect anything more. That they waited seven weeks to simply acknowledge my email is amazing. I know they have better things to do than respond to my moronic rhetorical questions, I'm not going to hold it against them. Yahoo! is, on the whole, pleasing me at the moment. They have found a dynamic which wasn't apparent, to me at least, before; much better search, the at times interesting YSearchBlog which allows commenting/trackbacking and are providing good competition to what was a stagnant marketplace.

Anyway, I just thought it was funny. That's all.
