Jakob Nielsen's Top Ten Web Design Mistakes of 2003 provides a couple of nuggets which I hadn't thought about before; number four particularly which concerns the graphical content of photos used for illustration purposes.

If you have anything to do with maintaining a Web site of anysort then go read some Jakob, he's a good guy.

If I thought I had the discipline to make new year resolutions worthwhile then I might resolve to think more about usability in An Oasis. Turns out I don't. I would however appreciate it very much if people would point out anything which is a) really annoying b) glaringly dumb or c) crazily illogical about the way that An Oasis is brought to you - Thanks.
