Blair and Bush nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

News

Isn't it ironic, dontcha think? Jan Simonsen, a member of Norway's Parliament Nominated Blair and Bush for the Peace Prize which is reminding me of Harald T. Nesvik (who co-incidentally also happens to be a right wing Norwegian politician) who nominated the terrible twosome for the '02 prize. It went to Jimmy Carter who advocated diplomacy and said in the NYT that the Iraq war would not be a 'Just' war.

Turns out the guy is too late to nominate them for '03 so they'll have to fight it our with others for the '04 prize. It seems unlikely they'll come home with the goods, but maybe in another couple of years, 3rd time lucky.

Meanwhile in the Norwegian Parliament the right wing nominator is probably being nominated to nominate Blair & Bush for '05.
