I finished my essay!!!

Woohoo. Finished the essay! Only took about 3 days more than anticipated and still ended up less than perfect! The question, in case you thought it was boring first time I mentioned it, was, "George Bush and Tony Blair have not made a convincing case for war. Discuss." My reasoning ended up getting a little obtuse and although it was supposed to be 1500 words it came out at 4500. After I put everything I could into the endnotes, made the margins smaller and cut it down a point size it looked like 1500 words even though it was actually 2138 words. Hope it's not so boring that someone bothers to count. My conclusion, for that dear readers is all I am giving, was essentially thus

Given the possibility of there existing in Iraq weapons of mass destruction which we recognise as a threat and links of undetermined nature between Iraq and terrorist groups hostile to the U.S. and U.K. together with an arguable case for intervention under the authority of existing U.N. Security Council Resolutions, I believe that the U.S. and U.K. governments have made a convincing case for war, I do however believe that they have created a much more convincing case for seeking substantial multi-lateral approaches to the global threat of terrorism and have highlighted the need for re-commitment to the spirit of the United Nations with a resolve to make it work effectively in tackling global issues.

Don't you wish you could read the whole thing? Well I'm so fed up of it that I don't want to defend it or discuss it any further.
