Flight Risk

On March 2, 2003 at 4:12 pm, I disappeared. My name is isabella v., but it's not. I'm twentysomething and I am an international fugitive. - "...she's a flight risk."

What to make of it? Another is she / isn't she? Sean-Paul at The Agonist received a cease and desist about it. Does that make her more real?

Update: Cybersociallife suggests a wired news articleabout this. Thanks CSL.

I Wonder what Salam Pax is upto. I see he's got a pagerank 8.

Wired News does a good job of recapping the events so far, and the author of the blog "Isabella" stopped by Collective Detective's discussion (free reg. req'd) and candidly answered many skeptics questions. The blog of a drunken animated puzzle piece has even begun spoofing it, a true sign of meme status.
