The demise of Concorde, News , TechI'm quite sad about the imminent demise of Concorde never having had the opportunity to fly at Mach 2 looking out of the window seeing the curvature of the earth from 60,000 feet. Concorde came into service on the 21st of January 1976, just 2 or 3 weeks before I was born. I remember having a little metal model of Concorde when I was a kid.
